Picture and Word are a small and dedicated team of professional web developers, designers and writers. If you want a web site, whatever the purpose, we can do that for you.

We are based in the beautiful coastal town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, but have clients all over the country.

We think that you cannot build a site until it has been thought out from start to finish. With that in mind we would usually take our clients through a process a bit like this:

• Discuss in detail what you want your site to do. Are you selling things or just showing what you can do?
• We'll create some outline drawings of what we think your site might look like to get your ideas looking perfect for the web.
• From these drawings we'll create some more accurate images of the look and feel of your site.
• We'll then iterate through those designs until we have the exact look and feel that you want.
• From there we can start to get the site working and the content actually fitting 'inside' your design.
• We then work through the site until we're all happy that it's done.
